“A low-cost, tablet-based option for prehospital neurologic assessment: The iTREAT Study”
About: A two-center study of a low cost mobile platform (audio and video) that could be brought into ambulances and used by paramedics to evaluate possible stroke patients. This was done by comparing the assessment of the NIHSS score in one group who got face-to-face examination and one group that was examined in the ambulance via video transmission.
