About: An observational study and a survey study were performed in Switzerland during the first two years of the Covid-19 pandemic. Due to the increase of emergency callers video calls started becoming reality to make the assessment of the patient more accurate. This study measures the effect of the use of live video on medical decisions in an Emergency Medical Communication Center.

The study found that in 2017 many paramedics were still unaware of the use of video telemedicine in the ambulance but most of them agreed or were neutral to the fact that it could improve patient care.
