“Prehospital Telemedical Emergency Management of Severely Injured Trauma Patients”
About: By identifying articles regarding prehospital trauma care and telemedicin 15 records were found. From this it was concluded that telemedical assistance via real-time telemetry systems, enabling video and audio conferencing between EMS staff and tele-emergency physicians, were associated with a higher treatment quality and a shorter time-to-treatment in invasive procedures.
