The purpose was to examine if the use of a telemedcine-EMS physician instead of on the scene was safe and feasible for non-life-threatening cases. The paramedics in the ambulance could talk to the EMS-physician via video and audio to diagnose and treat the patient. The telemedicine system was developed in the TemRas project.
